[nivo_slider width=”640″ height=”400″ link=”none” speed=”600″ delay=”3000″ navigation=”1″ bullets=”1″ pauseonhover=”0″ effect=”fade”] サステイナビジョン代表取締役下田屋が、2013年12月2日～4日にスイス、ジュネーブでで開催された「第2回 国連ビジネスと人権フォーラム」に参加しました。国連主催で、本会議は12月3日から、約1700人の各国政府関係者、企業関係者、Civil Society, NGO、大学関係者などの方々が参加しました。[nivo_slider width=”640″ height=”400″ link=”none” speed=”600″ delay=”3000″ navigation=”1″ bullets=”1″ pauseonhover=”0″ effect=”fade”] Mr Takeshi Shimotaya, Managing Director of Sustainavision, participated in 2nd United Nations Forum on Business and Human Rights in Geneva from 2nd to 4th December 2013 organised by United Nations.
本会議では、実際企業が関わる人権侵害が発生している地域からの方々から切実な訴えとして、国家の人権保護ができていない状況と、企業が関わる 人権侵害の実態を生生しく訴え、国連のワーキンググループによる状況確認の為のサイトビジットを懇願するという場面が頻繁にあり、企業が関わる人権侵害は深刻である状況が感じられました。
このような状況下で日本の企業が今度どのように企業に関わる人権に取り組んでいけば良いのか、サステイナビジョンは欧州の動向も踏まえながら講習やセミナーの開催などによりお伝えしていきたいと考えています。Over 1700 people from States, Businesses, Civil Society, NGOs, and Academia from all over the world participated. In the Forum, lots of indigenous people and victims raise voices against abuse of human rights from Business activities, which seems really serious, and there are many situations in the Forum which those people wants UN Working group to visit their areas.
Sustainavision will provide Business and Human rights trainings and seminars to Japanese companies as to how Japanese companies implement Guiding principle on Business and Human Rights based on the situation.
