[nivo_slider width=”640″ height=”400″ link=”none” speed=”600″ delay=”3000″ navigation=”1″ bullets=”1″ pauseonhover=”0″ effect=”fade”]Sustainavision Managing Director Mr Shimotaya gave the speech, ”Current European Companies’ approach to Human Rights” at Human Rights Workshop organised by Sustainability Forum Japan and Hurights Osaka, and supported by Global Compact Japan Network (GC-JN) in Tokyo, JAPAN on 28 of February 2013.この人権ワークショップは、あいおいニッセイ同和損害保険株式会社新宿ビル3階会議室にて開催され、下田屋からは、「欧州企業の人権への取り組み」と題して、①欧州CSR戦略と人権に関する動向 ②国連ビジネスと人権フォーラム ③欧州の人権に関する企業事例 ④ビジネスと人権に関連する情報サイトについて講演させていただきました。
その後、パネルディスカッション 「CSRに人権をどう生かすか」について、60分実施され、その導入の部分にて、ヒューライツ大阪所長 白石 理氏（元国際連合人権高等弁務官事務所人権担当官）から、「人権理念、人権感覚、人権理解、CSRに人権をどう生かすか」の説明があり、「国連ビジネスと人権に関する指導原則」についての基本的な考え方についての説明がなされました。そして、サステナビリティ日本フォーラム代表理事 後藤 敏彦氏の進行のもと、企業が人権にどのように取り組んでいけば良いのかについて、ディスカッションが展開されました。その後、「人権の紡ぎなおしのためのワークショップ」（120分）、ヒューライツ大阪嘱託研究員、松岡秀紀氏の指導の下、実際にサプライチェーンを意識したグループワークが実施されました。本ワークショップは、29人の企業のCSR/人事担当者の方々が参加されました。日本企業は人権に関する取組が弱いと一般的には指摘される中、取り組みを強化する必要性を感じている企業の関心高さを伺うことが出来ました。
サステイナビジョンは今後も欧州・海外のCSRの事例を日本にてお話させていただきます。

It was held at Shinjuku Building, Aioi Nissay Dowa Insurance Co,Ltd., Mr Shimotaya talked about 1. EU CSR strategy and progresses in Human Rights field 2. UN Forum for Business and Human Rights 3.Human Rights Case study of European companies 4.website information for business and Human rights. After that, Panel discussion, how do you deal with Human Rights in CSR, was running and in the beginning of the panel discussion, Mr Osamu Shiraishi, Director of Hurights Osaka, former Human Rights Officer of Office of the UN High Commissioner for Human Rights, delivered the presentation about “Philosophy, Sense, Understanding of the human rights, how do you deal with the human rights in CSR” and explained the basic concept of the UN Guiding principles on Business and Human rights.
And then under Mr Toshihiko Goto, Representative Director of Sustainability Forum Japan as a moderator, panel discussion was running. Mr Takeshi Shimotaya also joined the panel discussion as one of the panelists. After this panel discussion, Mr Hideki Matsuoka, Human Rights consultant of Hurights Osaka, ran “human rights workshop”.
29 CSR/HR specialists attended this workshop, and seemed to be really interested in reinforcement of their Human rights effort in their CSR activities. Sustainavision will deliver a presentation about “European CSR topics” in the future.
